September Calendar        PTSO Meeting        ARISE Program

The Coordinator of Parent Activities is responsible for:

• Supporting the goals of the School Leadership Team regarding parental involvement.
• Organizing school activities for parents.
• Providing and conducting workshops and seminars for the parents of Bassick High School students.
• Assisting parents in finding community and educational resources.
• Collaborating with the school leadership team, FWSN caseworker, attendance officers, guidance officers, social workers, and other school administrators and faculty to facilitate follow-ups with parents on referrals to community agencies that impact parent involvement.
• Serving as liaison with the district Parent Center, School Leadership Team, PTSO officers, and as a voice for parental concerns, questions, and those needing additional help.
• Promoting parent involvement within the school.
